In the mornings before ministry, we go to a tree at the front of the property, and we pray and worship. In the evenings, after ministry, dinner, and team time, we have Bible studies, where we study the Bible and share testimonies. We get to start the day off right and end the day off right. It is so important to be intentional about how your day is beginning and how it is ending. It shows where priorities are, and I pray that we always have God as our number one priority. Philippians 4:8 says, “Brothers continue to think about the things that are good and worthy of praise. Think of the things that are true, honorable, right, pure, beautiful, and respected.” It is so important to check what you are bringing in because it changes your output. What you put in changes your mindset on topics. We should be looking for ways to think of things that are good and worthy of praise. Having spaces where that is the focus is very helpful in making sure that is the priority.

In the morning, we go to a big tree, and we gather around it. We spend time in prayer for the squad and anything that God brings up to pray for. We break off and pray for a while before gathering together again. We have a great time praying to God by ourselves, then come together and share. It is such a blessing to share what God is doing and saying. It is not only impactful for the one who heard it but also for the body of Christ. The point of the tree is to pray and give God glory, so sometimes we sing worship songs together. Every time we worship, I feel so united with the group and God. We also sometimes will pray all together out loud, and it is super powerful. After sharing and worshiping, we pray out, but we hold hands while we pray to be a united front. We get to fight with Christ against the enemy as a united front. It’s so exciting and kind that God brings us into it even though he doesn’t have to. The tree time is a sweet time of personal time with God and community fellowship. God has spoken to me so much through it about true love, surrender, dependence, and trust. God is so good and so generous in how the life and love that he speaks over us!

At night we have Bible study just like we did in Romania. It is slightly different here because we have more people, and the schedule looks different. We dive into the Bible after praying about what to read. After this, we pray about who will share their life testimony. After this, the rotation continues between studying the Bible and hearing a life testimony. The leadership of it also switches depending on the night. The other night I led it, and the next night one of my teammates led it. It’s a sweet time of stepping up and leading. The Bible studies have been fruitful! So far, while we have been here, we have gone through 1 John and Philippians. I am so grateful for the ability to dive into scripture with this community on top of my own time with God. The Bible is living and active, and God speaks to us so much through it. I love hearing everyone point out where God is speaking to them and sharing the wisdom they have received. I will forever be grateful for these Bible studies that started in Romania and are thriving with more people coming. I have learned so much from Bible studies, and it’s been a fun way to end the night.

I encourage you to ask yourself how you are starting your day and how you are ending it. What are you putting into your head? Is God your number one priority?
