The anticipation begins to ring

Making my heart sing

Looking forward to everything 

Praising the Lord our king

Thanking God for the blessing 

The mission trip is what I’m addressing 

Thanks for this opportunity I’m expressing

As my excitement keeps progressing 

An opportunity only possible through God

A path made for me to go abroad 

Seeing His power leaving me awed 

In which He deserves an applaud 

He made it evident I was to go

Giving solutions to problems I’d throw

No issues I had left to show

I’m called to go this I know

I can’t wait to see

What the Lord has in front of me 

Which I look forward to with much glee 

All praise be to Thee

This mission trip makes me say yay

Each and every single day

This excitement I hope I did convey

I just can’t help but sing hip hip hooray!
