God is SO AMAZING!! His timing is so perfectly planned for everything, and I think that’s so cool! He has a time for everything; we need to be patient for it sometimes. God has a plan for the next steps in your life, but often God wants us to learn from our current season. So, either you need to grow, lead others to increase, or maybe you are not ready for what God has in store next. He will bring it about in His perfect timing. Sometimes it can be tough to wait. You want to move on to your next season. Whether that’s because the season you’re in is miserable or you think you’re ready for your next steps. Wait for God to lead you to your next season. Look for ways to grow in your faith, lead others, work on being patient for what lies ahead, and find ways to serve at your church or in your community.
Surrender control to God and let Him guide you on His path when He knows you’re ready. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.” God has it all planned out, and He wants you to turn to Him for that plan. He wants us to follow His plan because it’s the best and is made specifically for us because He knows us! This is made clear in Jeremiah 29:11-13, where it says, “ ‘For I know the plans I have for you’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’” When you struggle with being patient for God’s timing, go to Him! He wants to hear what you have to say and give you the strength to keep moving forward.
God’s timing is in the big and the little things. An example of a big thing would be the mission trip which is now only two months away!! His timing was perfect for this trip, and I’m so thankful! So that’s a significant example, but small things happen all the time that are a gift from God! Try to look through James 1:17 glasses and see how God is moving in your life in ways that may seem like coincidences. It’s God, so give Him the glory! An example of a small thing happened the other day. There’s an office that is hard to get into, and it takes a while to get in, but when I got there, a staff member was going in and held the door for me. God moves in big and little ways, and we should give him the glory and praise for it! Surrender your time and control to God and let Him lead you! His timing is perfect!
Good comments and some of my favorite Bible verses. Don’t leave out verse 13 on Jeremiah 29. It’s a great verse also
