In the short time, we have been here, I’ve been able to explore and go on fun little adventures. I’ve tried different food and new drinks and walked places, finding shortcuts. Romania is so sweet and exciting! I am so thankful for the opportunity to be here! I can already tell that this country will fly by, so I am trying to make the most of the time here. Ministry here looks quite different than in Guatemala, which is fun. We are working with youth and going on the streets to evangelize. We have the delightful opportunity to build into the youth by going out for coffee and getting to know them. As we get to know them and build trust then, we’re able to share the good news and answer questions they may have. For the first couple of weeks, we invite people to coffee and youth night, then we will go out for coffee and build into them. I am so excited to do this and already have a couple of coffee dates set up! I have enjoyed meeting people and have found myself reaching out to the quiet ones. I automatically have something in common with them, and I can get to know them. I am so excited for this season ahead in Romania!

I am also very excited because I have so many deep cleaning and organizing projects lined up during the time that I am here to bless the church. I am glad that I get to serve the church in this way! They have also put me into a bit of a leadership role in this by having me direct projects while doing them myself. Thank you, God, for this opportunity and for blessing me with a love for organizing so I can bless others. God is so good!

Also… we have been handing out calendars that have the gospel on them, and we get some people who are so happy to receive them and then others who stick their head up and shake their finger. Or we occasionally get someone who will growl at us. What a blessing to get turned down and rejected for Jesus! Thank you, God, for Romania and all of the people here! Thank you for loving everyone even when they don’t love you back. You are a good good father!
