ELECTRIFY

At the beginning of the year, I asked God to pick a word for the year. He chose electrify. Not a common word, but I was so excited to see how that would come into play this year. This year is not over, and the word electrify has popped up a lot. God has electrified my understanding of Him and my love for Him. He has electrified my skills and helped me serve in ways I didn’t think were possible. God electrified my life physically and emotionally in the best way possible.

The other day we were offered the opportunity to get baptized. I was convicted to get re-baptized since the Lord has moved so much in my life. I’ve grown so much in my relationship with God since I was baptized for the first time. But if I’m being frank, I was scared. I decided I wasn’t going to go. But God. He said GO. I obeyed, and I’m so glad I did.

After I was re-baptized, I felt overwhelming peace like I’d never felt before. I was the most at peace I’ve been in my entire life, and peace is what I have been asking God for. He answered my prayers in an electrifying way. God is so extraordinary in the way He works!

Afterward, someone prayed for me, and God gave her a vision as she was praying for me. This was crazy. She didn’t know me or anything I’d struggled with, so this was entirely from God.

The vision was this: I climbed onto an eagle, and the eagle took off straight up into the clouds. I was clinging to the eagle’s wings as it rose higher, and everything so big before was small. She then interpreted the vision. God wants you to give Him your all and cling to Him. He wants to take you higher and higher. All your anxiousness and insecurities will fade away. All your past pain, mentally and physically, will dim as you get closer to God’s light.

Wow! This was precisely what I needed to hear. I broke down and gave God COMPLETE control of my life. I desire to be taken higher and cling to Him. He is my rock and foundation. He broke me down so that I would be utterly dependent on Him. He truly electrified my life and continues to do so. God is so good.
He is worth completely trusting. He wants to take you to new heights and wants you to be entirely dependent on Him. He will use you in mighty ways if you let Him, and you will grow closer to Him. Your past pains will fade as you become completely consumed in God’s glory. It is so worth it! I love God so much and want you to experience what I am experiencing.
